Why is my dot Remote showing ‘Wet Motor’?

A wet motor notification will appear when your dot Hub motors detect moisture inside their casings. This will typically only happen if you’ve been riding in the rain, or if you’ve been riding through puddles and across wet surfaces.

dot Boards are not designed to be ridden in the wet, so if you have got a ‘Wet Motor’ notification, we recommend that you stop riding your dot Board immediately and give it time to dry out. Do not charge or attempt to run your dot Board until you’re confident that the moisture inside your motors has had time to dry.
